Awww, look at that precious face!
Anyone that has met me and my cat, Charlotte, knows that her middle name is Elizabeth and that when I die she will be the one to inherit my millions. She then will be shipped up to Western NY where she will spend the rest of her days making sock monkeys with her Godmother Emily. So anyways, its Thursday and why not post my 1st photos of my dear kitty Char. Check out the one of her just jumping off of the elliptical right after a hard workout!
I cowwk like n Eyetaleen - Mama gonna be proud!
Since I have been on my allergy medicine I have lost much appetite for things.. except anything chicken. Which, doesn't go with my yearly goal to become vegan. 9 out of 10 times it is chicken parm that I desire. Thats all I wanted for brunch this morning so I had to make do with what I have.

I created chicken parm out of frozen chicken nuggets, Swiss cheese and ketchup. And yes, for all inquiring minds it did taste damn good and almost like real CP.
Just promise not to tell my family about this one! Gram Lucy would be smacking me up right now.
So here is my creation, along with my favorite Italian candy and a bottle of Coppolla's wine to make it more authentic.

How to make your own ghost
In honor of the TV show Ghost Hunters on the SciFi channel (http://www.scifi.com/ghosthunters) I took my own ghostly photo. Anyone who knows me knows I love to scare myself silly with ghosts and alien pictures and stories.
The massive "ghost" is caused by the smoke from incense flowing through out the room. I showed the photo to my hubby and he mentioned how you can see a stick figure/face near the candle. Eekk! MOMMY!

A cup of coffee isn't a cup of coffee unless it is in a flower pot
Every time I go to my dear friend Jenny's home for one of her fabulous parties she always gives me my coffee at the end of the night in my favorite mug of hers. I am like a whiny baby who only drinks out of her special sippy cup. You haven't had a cup of frothy cafe until you have had it in a matted ceramic cup in shape of a flower pot. You can literally put dirt in the flower pot mug and I will find it to be the most delicious thing. Okay, maybe not that far! But I just love the experience, don't know why. Its the clash between matte ceramic and creamy coffee that just hits the spot.

It is the yearly mug from the Disney Epcot garden show and I just love it.
So after many months of attempting to locate my own Jenny e-mailed me last week with a special finding on Ebay. Yes, the other day I received my very own mug that will forever provide daily utopia for me. (okay, so I know I didn't use utopia in the correct sense, but I liked the way it sounded). So here are photos of me creating my 1st cup of coffee - which was a delicious blend of soy milk, sugar cubes and organic coffee blend - in my nirvana of mugs

Newness Blog
I have had online journals and even posted on myspace and facebook at times. Yet, I haven't had an actual blog until now. I am far from the original creator of blogging experiencing new things. I will posting new things I experience whenever they come to me. Then starting on my 29th birthday I will do one thing new daily and post it. I had originally thought of naming this blog Newness. What a beautiful word. It reminds me of Nudeness such as the moment of birth or being pure. But I found several blogs with that name. So I found the beautiful Italian term bella scoperta which means what a revelation! or beautiful revelation. I felt that described what I want my experience to be. As many of you know I am not afraid to try new things. I am open to the beautiful cultures and experiences in this world. Even if it a thing, place, experience, etc. is not my personal belief I am still open to the things that make the world go round as the saying goes.
I first got this wondrous and fun idea from a 29 year old named Jen who was all over CNN a few months ago. She is doing a blog about doing something new everyday for the full year before her 30th birthday. I read it faithfully everyday and every time I want to jump out of my seat to try new things. What a wonderful way to experience life! I was going to wait until my 29th birthday on March 3rd, but I could not wait. I have several new things that will be happening before then (Going to L.A., etc.) so why not start up the engine? I welcome any LEGAL suggestions of new things. P.S. This is a blog so as much as I will try to keep with proper grammer and spelling, I won't stress it out and ask you not to either. Yes, it is a petpeeve of mine when people point petty things like that out, so don't push your luck.
So since I can not credit this new thought, I must cite my idea from this blog : http://www.jen365.blogspot.com/
At Thanksgiving dinner we were discussing my cousin Gina's blog while she is in the Peace Corp in Paraguay. My mom, being pretty much computer illiterate, asking "what is a blog?". Mom, thankfully you have a librarian for a daughter so for you and well, probably no one else, here is a Websters Dictionary definition for you.
