So I had this cough::crazy::cough patron come into the library with the title of a book written on a scrap piece of paper that someone had recommended her to read to find herself. It was the classic, best selling book of 2003 "A Purpose Driven Life". She told me that if reading it didn't do it for her she would be back to get the book on cd. I checked to see if we had it and yes

I was driving down for the night to South NJ and thought it may be something different to listen to rather then my usual Britney Spears music. It tells you that you should only take on one thing per day and there are 40 points that you need to work on. My 1st "self help" book and I start off not listening to it and go ahead and listen to the first 4 points. I have to say I do like some of the points the author states. I also like how non-scripted the recording is. At points you can hear the authors digital watch alarm go off and also him crying when its an emotional point. It usually occurs when he ends a sentence with "God".
I am going to finish listening to the book to see what the outcome is.
